1、Duration of warranty

（1）Memory module — lifetime warranty and nation-wide service

Kingtiger TECHNOLOGY KINGTIGER memory modules are covered by this premium warranty for the life of the product, i.e. the products shall be maintained free of charge for a life time for any damage resulted from natural factors. 

(2) Flash memory — five year warranty

Kingtiger TECHNOLOGY KINGTIGER USB flash drives and flash memory cards are warranted for a period of five years from the date of original purchase for any damage resulted from natural factors.

(3) Multi-media products — two year warranty

Kingtiger TECHNOLOGY KINGTIGER MP3 players are warranted for a period of two years from the date of original purchase, which shall be maintained free of charge for any damage resulted from natural factors.

2、Exclusions to repair and replacement

Repair and replacement does not apply to any product on which the identification label has been removed and the product cannot be determined to be original KINGTIGER.

Repair and replacement does not apply to any product that is determined by the service offices to be counterfeit (not original products of KINGTIGER).

3、 The maintenance warranty does not apply to any damage or part loss resulted not from the responsible manufacturer KINGTIGER but from the users’ personal factors listed below.

(1) Damage resulted from non-product problems such as natural disaster or improper handling

(2) Damage of IC Chip

(3) Damage of PCB, cut-off of electric route or break-up of PCB

(4) Damage or drop-off of passive components by external forces (passive components include resistors, capacitors and resistor arrays)

(5) The product is unable to open due to damage of EEPROM

(6) Warranty or anti-dismantle label is altered or damaged.

(7) Burning of IC chip resulted from intentional over-clocking operation or unauthorized repair and disassembly.

(8) KINGTIGER will charge reasonable prices for the maintenance of the products resulted from non-warranted reasons.

4、 How to obtain warranty service

To obtain warranty service, you may return a defective product to the local KINGTIGER retailer or distributor from which you purchased the KINGTIGER product. You must include product series number (see label or packing box) with a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. You must at the same time provide the proof on the date of your purchase to confirm that the product is still in the period of replacement or warranty.

5、 Warranty standards

(1) KINGTIGER shall get the customers informed and approved of the approximate service charge before working on the maintenance.

(2) KINGTIGER shall provide instant service for minor problems of products sent back to factory and shall repair the products with major problems in 3 to 5 workdays before returning them to customers.

(3) KINGTIGER shall take 3 to 5 workdays to repair the products returned to the company counter, coming from nonlocal places or coming in large quantity for acting service.

(4) KINGTIGER shall inform any customer of the cause and the exact time it will take to repair the product if an exceptional case occurs.

6、Other cautions:

(1) Users must make a backup of their data before sending in the products with data storage function for repair. Kingtiger TECHNOLOGY may not guarantee the completeness of the data during the course of maintenance.

(2) Due to rapid upgrade of products, Kingtiger TECHNOLOGY shall replace a discontinued product or product no longer covered by its original manufacturer with a new functionally equivalent one.

7、Kingtiger INTERNATIONAL reserves the right to announce the alteration of the warranty terms.

Kingtiger INTERNATIONAL reserves the right of final interpretation and alteration of the warranty terms.

Except for the foregoing warranty terms, Kingtiger INTERNATIONAL is not liable for any extra warranty promise made by any institute or person (eg. distributors or sub distributors) concerning the product the consumers purchased. The consumers must claim for a written statement from them to guarantee these extra promises are to be implemented.
